This year when YOUR Williamson magazine asked me to design an Easter table for their April issue I was thrilled because I adore Easter! I totally have my grandmother to blame ... it's her favorite too. Growing up, I remember Easter Egg hunts in her Williamsburg boxwood garden, beautiful Easter dresses (one year I even wore a matching hat), family photos and lunch after church around her long dinning room table.
Today marks Jacobs and my two year wedding anniversary. What a happy two years it has been! It's always so fun to look back through our wedding photos. I thought I would post some of my favorites here on the blog today and share some of the details with you. Happy Anniversary, Love—what an incredible event to kick off our marriage together! Friends and extremely talented photographers, Mary and Adam Rosenbaum of Mary Rosenbaum Photographs documented the day—I can't say enough great things about not only their work but the people they are. Amazing.
We had family over on Saturday night to celebrate my mom's birthday (happy birthday mom!) and I put together a cheese (and meat) platter for everyone to enjoy while I was finishing up cooking dinner.
January is a hard month. It's right after the holidays. We're all a little heavier and have a little less money. It's cold and sunny days seem few-and-far-between. The "winter blues" have set in. I've found myself having to make an effort on a daily basis to stay motivated and have to make a conscience effort through the cold months to keep my energy up.
