1st Birthday Cutie and an Adorable Baby Shower
Today is my nephew, Henry's, 1st birthday. Happy Birthday Chunk!!
We celebrated with family and friends over the weekend and it made me think about the shower I threw for my sister-in-law over a year ago in anticipation of his birth. Wow, how time flies!
Since the party was pre-blog, I put some photos together of the decorations—so fun to look back!
My aunt hosted at her house and we decorated with an elephant and giraffe theme (gray and yellow) to match Henry's nursery.
We decorated with gray and white chevron and pops of bright yellow (lots of lemons, yellow tulips and giant round balloons).
The table was adorned with jars of gray, white and yellow candy along with scoops and little bags for everyone to take goodies home. I also loved the yellow cotton candy served in waffle cones.
These Jello shot lemon wedges were SO CUTE (liquor free, mind you, for a morning family-friendly shower). :)
This was Henry's first party, when he was still in my sister-in-law's belly. Today we celebrate his very first birthday. I can't wait to celebrate him with MANY more adorable parties to come! Happy Birthday Henry!
