I had the pleasure of going on Talk of the Town last Friday to bake my Soft-Baked Sugar Cookies. The holidays can be nuts, so I set out to make a sugar cookie recipe that is super simple and totally kid-friendly. These are not only fun to eat but a joy to make!
The stockings are not quite hung by the chimney with care ... but I'm working on it! Christmas decorating started today and to get us in the mood, I turned on Elf, lit a fraiser fur candle, and whipped up a batch of these Chewy Molasses Cookies.
Among my favorite things about being a kid were the campfires my family built on cool summer evenings. I remember how we would search the yard for the perfect sticks that we would later use to toast fluffy marshmallows. Once their snow-white skins turned golden brown and their insides gooey, we'd sandwich them together with chocolate bars between graham crackers and devour the fire-kissed confections always asking for “s’more.”
It's hard for me to believe that our little angel turns one month old today. In celebration, I made sugar cookies ... because every one month old loves sugar cookies ... well at least I know one mommy that does. Happy Birthday E!
It's a Snickerdoodle time of year. As the weather gets cooler and we move into full-fledged fall, these sugary cinnamon cookies are just what your taste buds ordered.
I really love to eat batter ... cake batter, pancake batter, cookie dough, I always lick the bowl! So if the dough is the best part of the cookie, why wouldn't you sandwich chocolate chip cookie dough between two chocolate chip cookies? I would. You should.
Valentine's Day is this week which means it's time for pink and red heart shaped goodies for the ones you love. It's time to make something sweet for your sweetie and these Linzer cookies are really something special.
