This pie is NEXT LEVEL. Now, I have to be honest with you. It is a little time consuming to make (with the baking of the crust, and the cooling of the layers) but you won’t regret making it. It’s for sure a show-stopper.
An Old Fashioned is my drink of choice—warm spicy bourbon mixed with a little sugary sweetness. If my favorite cocktail married a chocolate chip cookie, this would be their love child.
These blondies are chewy, sweet, salty, and chocked full of chocolate. Brown butter and brown sugar add depth of flavor while bits of toffee and a layer of Nutella bring sweet familiarity. They are beyond my favorite bar cookie and it’s impossible not to find them sinfully delicious.
