Simple (and Cheap!) Fall Table Decor

Last year I went ALL OUT for my fall table decorations. I painted pumpkins, and planted cabbage, and made place cards, and dipped caramel apples. Check it all out HERE.

This year, I decided to put something really simple together. Something that took very little time, money or effort. I wasn't even going to post it on the blog because I didn't think it was incredibly inspirational ... until my sister texted me from her apartment in NY that she needed some cheap and easy fall table decoration ideas. It dawned on me that most people are just like me and my sister ... looking for a way to spruce up their table for fall that doesn't take a lot of time, money or effort!

Pumpkins

The only thing I bought this year for my table were pumpkins. Jacobs and I had the best time searching Reed's Produce  for the perfect ones. Nothing gets you more in the Fall spirit than wandering the isles of your local produce stand picking out pumpkins and mums!

I fell in love with these Cinderella orange beauties. Now, I don't normally go for orange (I am a neutral girl) but these have the most incredible muted orange and green color; I couldn't resist. Paired with my favorite white pumpkins—they almost don't look real.

Owl

Last year my mom gave me this adorable wooden owl and I paired it with some Old Judge Coffee jars from my jar collection. They have owls etched in the glass so when illuminated by candlelight, they make the most adorable understated nod to Halloween.

I stacked everything on top of a piece of old barn wood and used a linen table runner under that to protect the table. Throw in some acorns and mercury glass votives and you've got a simple yet festive table!
