Remember Honey's Vintage Sweets? As we sadly say goodbye to the nostalgic candy store, Franklin is thrilled to welcome back the Tin Cottage. Marianne DeMeyers brings back the beloved gift shop with an emphasis on fresh and local products and gifts geared toward entertaining.

I ran by the shop yesterday and took some shots of the store to bring you a sneak preview. Their grand opening is tomorrow, Thursday the 25th from 6 to 8 complete with shopping, tapas, wine and giveaways.

Tin Cottage is located at 123 South Margin St. in Downtown Franklin. Not only do they carry beautiful gifts and home goods, they will be having events and workshops to help you refine the art of entertaining. Starting with my pie party workshop!

I really love their mix of vintage and new home goods—an eclectic collection of practical and special items. You'll find a great gift for your best friend, a hostess gift for that dinner you're going to later this week, and five or six items you just can't resist buying for yourself.

I also really love the local and artisan market they have along the back wall featuring Middle Tennessee and Southern artisanal products. You know I love local!

They have everything from locally-made jewelry, antique jars, quirky cards and hilarious dish towels to local artisan chocolate, cocktail shakers, holiday decor and huge gorgeous wooden serving platters.
