Window Shopping Down Franklin's Main Street

With the seasons changing, I am suddenly energized to spruce up my home. Running down Franklin's Main Street yesterday, I had to stop and peer into some of my favorite home stores for a little inspiration. Franklin is chock-full of amazing boutiques and shops that I love to frequent. These are just some of my favorite home stores on Main Street. Here's a map to help when you go!

ReDo, 300 Public Square, redoyourhouse.com

1. Redo

An adorable shop plus a team of designers to help coordinate your renovations and improvements makes this Franklin destination a one-stop-shop.

I love: Their upholstered furniture (especially the C.R. Laine line) and vast selection of fabrics and wall coverings (think bright geometric patterns).

I've bought: The coolest geometric wallpaper for my pantry (in aqua and white, of course). 300 Public Square, redoyourhouse.com

HeyDay, 334 Main St. #10, heydayfranklin.com

2. HeyDay

Find gifts galore, from R. Wood Studio pottery and coffee table books to Scout bags and SEC football entertaining pieces.

I love: The baby section toward the rear of the store includes a collection of “Lentil Beans Bunny” paintings by artist Carla Marchall.

I've bought: Evergreen scented soap and a candle around Christmas. Jacobs uses it year-round. 334 Main St. #10, heydayfranklin.com

3. The Iron Gate

I love this store! For those looking for luxury, this shop features fine bed linens and furniture, premium candles, French-milled soaps and one-of-a-kind found objects.

I love: Huge pillar candles, selection of sea shells and coral, and linen bedding like Pom Pom At Home by Hilde Leiaghat.

I've bought: Lots of candles and two beautiful pillow shams that no one is aloud to sleep on—ha.  I wish I could buy everything but it tends to be pricey. 338 Main St., theirongateonline.net

4. Lulu

Think pink: This romantic haven carries the prettiest bed linens and feminine accessories.

I love: Quotable art and their adorable pink gift boxes.

The Registry, 347 Main St., theregistryfranklin.com

5. The Registry

One of my all-time favorite stores! Dishes, china, and gifts for not only the bride-to-be but also discerning shoppers who appreciate the beauty of a fine table setting.

I love: Lines like Arte Italica, Beatriz Ball, Vietri, Spode, Herend, and Juliska.

I've bought: A lot! I registered here for my wedding so all of my dishes, serving dishes, glasses, etc. are from here. Love, love. My registry is still open if you'd like to go buy me something. 347 Main St., theregistryfranklin.com

Avec Moi, 418 Main St., avecmoifranklin.com

6. Avec Moi

With an eclectic mix of vintage and new accessories, French-inspired Avec Moi takes your grandmother’s favorite things and makes them relevant for today.

I love: Vintage glassware, stacks of dishes, K. Hall candles and owner, Bob Roethemeyer.

Yarrow Acres, 424 Main St., facebook.com/YarrowAcres

7. Yarrow Acres

This garden shop has been a Main Street mainstay for nearly two decades. Their garden accessories have always inspired us to get our hands dirty.

I love: Their terrariums and succulents (so on trend right now) that are incredibly easy to keep alive.

I've bought: The cutest hand-made holiday decorations. My mom and I share a collection of Papier-mache snowmen. 424 Main St., facebook.com/YarrowAcres

8. Rare Prints Gallery

Museum quality prints combined with exquisite framing. Bring some history into your home with Vanity Fair caricatures or Wirsing’s Birds and Nests of Germany.

William Powell Co., 506 Main St.

10. William Powell Company Home and Garden

A “picker’s” paradise, William Powell Co. has the coolest antique architectural decor.

I love: Vintage advertising signs, schoolhouse maps, and re-purposed light fixtures.

I've bought: An "A" letter for my sister as a present. 506 Main St., facebook.com/WPCHomeandGarden
