Seersucker Sage Cocktail

It's already been a crazy spring. I have a newborn baby, a newborn book, and a book/media tour underway. This girl needs a drink! Luckily, Seersucker Gin graciously sent me a bottle of their liquor and I happily got to work to create a perfect springtime cocktail that is light and fresh and perfect for the warmer days ahead. 

My favorite cocktails are always simple to make with straightforward ingredients that burst with flavor. This Seersucker Gin has notes of honey and citrus which makes it the perfect spring/summer spirit. 

Seersucker Sage Cocktail

makes 1 cocktail

Ice

1 ounce St-Germain elderflower liqueur

2 ounces Seersucker Southern Style Gin

3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

Fresh sage, for garnish

Instructions

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice and add the elderflower liqueur, gin, and lemon juice. Shake vigorously until the sides of the shaker are frosty, about 20 to 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with the sage leaf, and serve.
